I contacted several authorized Samsung repair companies, but they all came in at much higher prices and many had call services where you were speaking with someone who doesn't speak english well and is not the repair person, but a scheduler. Dan picks up the phone himself and does all the work. You can tell that he enjoys the work, by how quickly he gets it done, and by how well and patiently he treats his customers. Dan (the owner/technician) was excellent. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and went way above and beyond to fix the issue (water leaking into the fridge - very difficult to diagnose). What impressed me the most was WeFix/Dan's commitment to fixing the issue. Prior to using WeFix, I hired different company - this other company defrosted the fridge, charged me $400, and called it a day... of course, this "fix" didn't last. Samsung has had excessive issues with their icemakers as to earn the privilege of TWO class-action suits regarding them. So, that's how we came to meet Dan. He is an exceptional technician and a wonderful man as well, always with a pleasing attitude and a smile; we will use him in the future for ANY appliance issues that arise in our home. When one thinks of a service technician it is often with skepticism as so many of them charge you for breathing on your property; every time you turn your head they've concocted another way to leverage more money out of you. Dan is as far from the often too-typical service technician or company as possible. He is always looking for ways to help the customer in the most economical way possible. Economical. The next thing that people wonder about is "Will the technician know how to properly diagnose the issue and provide me with a reasonable solution? Dan excels at that, too. Excels. The next frequent thought is. "Will the technician be careful in and respectful of my home?" We thought the drain was clogged, but, after four tries at unclogging it and the removal of some gunk, it still wouldn't work. So, we consulted Yelp and found a company that specialized in Samsung appliances. Daniel came out the next day, and he quickly found the problem--something jammed the drain pump propeller blades. My daughter works with young children at the Y in Encinitas, and brings a lot of sand home from the playground in her clothes. Daniel had the washer working in five minutes. Given the pump's age, we weren't sure what to do. Daniel clearly explained all of our options to us, and he didn't try to influence us. We decided to replace the pump. Luckily, he had one in his truck, and in less than 20 minutes we were back in the laundry business.
